Our November service day is Wednesday, November 1. Our volunteers will perform the service on Friday, Novembe 3 at Second Harvest. Members need to log in to register. Use the link below. Second Harvest site https://www.2harvest.org/ click on "Volunteer" in the upper right corner and folllow the screens. Some of you are registered from previous events. I received an email from Dave Kaiser asking for volunteers. See his request below. Last year, Anne Norris, Jim Benshoof and Tom Kosel served as volunteers. The event was well organized and we meet other volunteers from our three cities. Dave Kaiser wrote: We're looking for 6 to 8 people to help at NEAR at 7am on the 14th to load the items for the toy distribution event into the truck so they can be moved over to the Crystal Community Center. The plan is to take about 30-40 minutes to load the items in the truck. The hope is that some or all of your crew could then follow the truck over to the Crystal Community Center and help unload for as much time as the volunteers can stick around.
