Agua Para Nicaragua Project

As well as being involved in a lot of local projects, our Club is involved in international projects.  Our current international project is the Agua Para Nicaragua project.  We are working with the Rotary Club of Masaya Nicaragua to furnish and install water filtration systems for 300 homes in 4 villages in the Masaya Department of Nicaragua.  These villages have elevated cases of GI-tract infections, primarily due to contaminated water sources.  The water filtration system will use a system that has been successfully used on many other locations globally.  Our Club is also partnering with other area Clubs as well as the Muskogee Club in Oklahama.
